We need real, effective reform.  What is happening now on our borders makes us less secure, destroys our economy, creates human suffering on a monstrous scale, and creates a slave class.  My solution melds our current resources and protocols with some improvements that are cost effective and efficient.

When we find illegals, instead of tearing apart families and communities, we give them a “blue” card.  This card will document their dates of birth, nationality, fingerprints, and will have the same microchip technology that is in our passports so they are easily scanned and stored in a central database.  They cannot become citizens, they cannot get government services or Medicare, and they pay a 10% income tax penalty for the rest of their lives.  If they ever leave the US, they cannot return.  If they return, then either jail time, and subsequently return to their country of origin, or military service.

We need to take the profit out of illegal immigration, and need to enforce the rules against employers providing jobs to illegal immigrants.  I do not believe in amnesty, and I will not support an amnesty bill.  I believe this is a low cost, common sense approach to a burgeoning problem.
